Hi friends! I meant to write a New Year Eve’s party dress post, but my life has a been hectic with the holidays and now I feel it’s a bit late. Buuuuut! It’s not too late for you to run to the thrift store and get yourself a bit of sparkle :).

Thrifting is a GREAT source for sequins and just to show you what might be waiting for you at your local thrift store I went on Etsy to give you a vintage sequins partay.

How fun is sequins?!?! I actually love it all year round but find it particularly appropriate for New Year’s Eve…something about shining with sparkly sequins to start the new year is very festive and optimistic.
So head to your local thrift store and see what kind of sparkle waits for you there!
Ohhh, all these sequins! Maybe I’ll end up going to a thrift store on my Birthday. If not, very shortly after!

I recently re-discovered my love of sequins… My sister handed me down a red sweater dress with red sequin stripes on it. I wore it to my company’s holiday party, and in direct light it reflected like a Christmas disco ball. It was GLORIOUS. I need to hit a thrift store again soon to see what other treasures I can find!

I have no plans for New Year’s Eve, but like you I love the idea of sequins. Actually I’ve been looking for some sequins recently but nothing has been quite right. Ill have to go look at the goodwill for sequins on my next trip!
