What I Wore-Knicks Posting and Toasting

In case you haven’t heard, I am a HUGE Knicks fan! I love them!! I could go into it but you can see more of my fanaticism here and here, if you like.

Some fellow Knicks fans invited me to go to celebrate the Knicks making the 6th seed in the playoffs!!! Happytown USA for us! The Knicks haven’t seen the playoffs in 7 years, and WE have watched them, trust me…was not easy. So H-A-P-P-Y!

THIS is my bberry wallpaper right now, from my little tv

The celebration was thrown by the great Knicks blog Posting and Toasting. I tried to take some pics for you but it was really just so dark in the bar. It was all Knicked out!! So fun and festive! Plus being in a bar full of happy Knicks fans was quite a treat. Sad none of the pics are really even identifiable, BUT this is what I wore.

I decided to wear my Raymond Felton jersey even though he’s no longer on the Knicks. Felton was one of the guys we gave up for Carmelo Anthony, also he was only signed for a 2 year contract so probably not in the Knicks’ long term goals; BUT he played his heart out for my Knicks and I LOVE him for it. Plus we were in the playoffs BEFORE Carmelo, I didn’t forget that and Felton was definitely one of the guys who took us there.

I knew he was going but I was so sad he left :(. Thank you  RAYMOND FELTON!

I am not sure where I’ll be to watch tip off, but you bet I’ll be in something Knicks.

P.S! This is not even all my Knicks gear; I have a Patrick Ewing jersey from the BF (thanks honey), a signed John Starks Jersey hanging in my room, oh(!) and a Knicks’ Santa Hat, also from the bf.

So guys, we are playing the Boston Celtics! EEEEK!!! Definitely a task at hand as they are stellar despite their more recent record. Sooooo geeeze, I don’t know!! I’m so excited to watch what we do! It’s really epic for me!

P.S.- I do know one die hard Knicks fan who with his bro will be attending the a playoff game at the Garden and he’s one of the very few friends I’ve told about this blog.

So I just want to take a second to say HI DEAR FRIEND! I want you to have THE BEST TIME EVER, have the time of your life even! You can never have enough of those :). I am so happy that you’ll be there, no matter the outcome. Love you! LET’S GO KNICKS!

What a great post! I think it’s remarkable that you’re such a Knicks fan, especially given our drought of good basketball for the past decade. I love the gear too. And speaking of fans, you just made another one.

I really love how you dressed up the sports shirt with a blazer. I always find stuff like that so hard to style because it’s so casual, and masculine.

love the outfit! and you know how i feel about the talented raymond felton. well, i’m in a tough place in the 1st round of the playoffs since celtics are my #1 team. but, good luck to the knicks (and if they win, i’ll support them for the rest of the playoffs). celtics have been pretty depressing lately but i’m hoping they improve. blogged about the amare and roy collaboration, btw. thanks for the tip.

Sporty-feminine-chic is awesome. I’m impressed with how well you pull it off too! A Knicks fan, huh? You *ARE* a New Yorker haha. As for me, I am not that into sports. =( Count it amazing already that I can at least tell the difference between basketball and football.
