My new fave skirt and tuesday white jeans repeat!

So my Smile File post was so late in the day!!! I want them to be morning posts to start my day out right. Darn! I am kind of upset at myself, but alas I am human, was running late and I had a lot to write about b/c it was a very big smile and loads to share…okay I’m also outfit behind! I’m not posting today’s outfit b/c I had a job interview and although there is me in it, it’s sincerely not my wear of choice.

I had mentioned I was really digging my outfit on Monday and voila…here it is!!!

I am in love with my new but not new skirt. It is thrifted from Vintage Thrift on 2nd avenue b/w 22nd and 23rd street; check how cute this place is here!

Just trying to show off the textures in this skirt. It actually looks a little plain with my leggings and black boots but it’s sooooo not plain…fringe! deconstruction! <3!

I’m thinking I can wear my mini black tube dress under in the spring and wear this fun skirt as a dress…uhg, please winter go away…far away.

Tuesday’s Outfit:

That is my bf’s shirt he sacrificed to my closet.Small confession I have 3 denim shirts, 2 are shown here but I have another from Target. They ARE different! I swear! And one was free so I’m assuaging my guilt a tad. Yes, I wore 2 different denim shirts 2 consecutive days andyes I have a job where people could judge me on maaaybe wearing the same shirt, but hey it’s what I wanted to wear.

Also here I am again with white jeans so soon after their debut on Sunday, but I went to the In Good Company event last night and wanted to inspire ladies to wear their winter white jeans so a repeat performance was in order. Sorry a little blurs! Again I run so late in the mornings…I’m workin’ on it.

And lastly to make up for my late late Smile File post I wanted to share my jewelry situation. I have a lot and I wear a lot but I ALWAYS put something on from 3 very special people: mamacita, daddy and my aunt who is like my other mom (notice I did not say second! My moms are my hearts and I would never give places).

• The Cartier watch was a graduation gift from my dad and his girlfriend, his girlfriend worked at Cartier at the time and I’m so happy and blessed to have it. I wear it close to everyday and it feels really nice to have something so kind of regal.
• The 99 ring is so special to me, it’s from my dear mamacita. My high school’s class rings were really expensive and we weren’t poor but didn’t have like extra extra, so I really thought it was a waste of money for a class ring. When the deadline to order came and went my mom felt pretty sad I didn’t have a h.s.  momento so she went to I believe it was mandee’s and bought this ring for me…which is so precious and sweet it makes me tear up just thinking about it…BUT also funny! I don’t know if you recall but high school rings are given out your JUNIOR year in h.s. so I actually graduated in 2000, when I told her this she responded, “Well, that’s just so confusing! It’s the thought, babycita!” which makes me love it more b/c it’s cute with the funny 🙂 and while no one I know from h.s. wears their class rings I wear my special erred one almost everyday.
• The silver circle dangle bracelet is from my other mom, she is the nicest most beautiful, grateful, giving, kind and STYLISH woman (this lady has been wearing leopard since I can remember), I love this bracelet from her b/c it’s a tad bold  and noisy b/c it jingles and the combination reminds me of her attitude and fashion sense.

When I look down I smile b/c these things remind me of how lucky I am to be so so so loved.
