May is National Bike Month!!!
I started riding my bike into work last year and it’s the best thing ever! Save time, save money, I’m spared the crowd and smell of the subway commute :).

Now you might think that New York is a little dangerous to ride your bike to work and I completely see why you would think this but really with all the bike lanes, green lanes, and the help of Ride the City, it’s actually not bad.

That bicycle parking is right by my job in Soho, pretty cool.
We even have bikes at BestBuy!?
I took this at the BestBuy in Union Square last summer…I was shocked to see I could buy a new bike and a new external drive at the same place! Ha! See we like biking here :).

i love the idea of riding bikes more often, especially riding them to work. unfortunately, i don’t live close enough to ride a bike to work…and it’s super hot out here–by the time i got to work i’d be full of sweat…not a good look.
but i still love that it’s national bike month. is that first photo for real?

I’m too afraid to ride my bike in the city, but I’m very glad to hear you wear a helmet. I don’t understand all these hipsters who don’t. I’m going to make a great nagging mother someday.
