What I wore…Melo week!

I’m a huuuuuge Knicks fan! I grew up around tons of boys and sports so a deep love for the Knicks was instilled in me at birth…I mean there are pictures of me as teeny tiny girl in Knicks tees…so this fandom runs deep and long! And let me tell you attending games during the Isaiah years ROUGH and actually physically painful.

The trade of Carmelo Anthony was an enormous moment for me, so much so that I had a hard time believing that it was real. The team I’ve cheered for all my life finally were getting this huge opportunity in Melo and along with Amare and Billups I think it will be an amazing team that everyone will want to watch. Ahhhhhhhh! I mean despite their loss last night I really believe this team has incredible potential and I am EXCITED!

LOL- this is the pic the boy sent me Tuesday morning after the trade…PARTY TOWN U.S.A :D…thanks for the big big smile, honey. This pic made me literally laugh out loud.

Wednesday outfit:

Confession, I have this exact tunic in a short top version…lol. I just love it so much and Asos had something similar on sale, so I really couldn’t resist.

Interview Thursday …tee hee, I look like a real lady!

You might have noticed my weekday outfits are not exactly “business causal”, well it’s because I am very lucky to work in a field where I can wear leather minis and ripped jeans to my heart’s content.BUT I want to move the direction of my career which will probably require me to compromise on this one perk…although I think it will be totally worth it (smile).

This dress is a new guy in my wardrobe (I mentioned him here).

ASIDE!!!

Ahhhhhhhhh!!!! OH MY GAWSH! So I’m in my apartment writing my outfit posts and my friendly neighborhood mailman delivers the Laura Elizabeth Hope Necklace I won from Budget Babe and Modnique for the story about my mom and my 99 ring (you can read it here along with some other jewelry stories).

LOOKIE! This beautiful necklace is still available at Laura Elizabeth’s store for $165 here.

It’s so pretty and dainty!!! I am in deep love, no actually Depp love which is the highest level of love for me named after of course Johnny Depp who was my first love ever (21 Jump Street) and who remains one of my mostΒ  beloved crushes.

Thank you again Budget Babe and Modnique…who were so super nice in email exchanges and are all around awesome sites you should check out.

I will wear it all the time and it will remind me that sometimes I can be a winner (BIG BIG SMILE).
